It all began after studying Art & Design in college when I opened a flower shop that eventually lead to a love for planning parties & events. During the time that I started my beautiful family, I was able to stay home with my children and start my event planning business, as well as to continue to design flowers from my home studio office. When my oldest child went to school, I would take my littlest angel with me to the pretty bridal studio I opened at the historic Hotel Syracuse. I am blessed to say that the business grew in to Event Studio, a full service planning and design business originally located in the Bentley Settle Building in Armory Square, where I have had the pleasure of designing and consulting countless events earning a reputation as a leading event planning business in the Central New York Business Journal Book of Lists.  As a professional event planner with a strong background in design, I am experienced in assessing your needs, handling logistics for planning, event design, promotions, production, & management. My focus is on the details. When the market eventually changed, I realized that my business plan needed a change as well and that is how Do Me A Favor...a la carte event planning and accessories was born. I realized that there was a whole base of clients out there who either could no longer afford a full event planner or who were more hands on and only needed assistance planning specific aspects of their special events. As a result of the popularity of offering event accessories & embellishments, & because I wanted to promote "favors", I decided to expand the business once again to include artisan wine bottle candles that I make myself. I was inspired by my love & appreciation for my beautiful English Tudor to create a line of repurposed artisan wine bottle candles & accessories. I love my Berkeley Home with all it's historic features of old slate, classic architecture, & most importantly fragrant candlelight. The repurposed element of my candles fit right in & that is why I named this new line Berkeley Home.
